Paper Wasp Nest

My Granddaughter spotted this Paper Wasp Hive in our large red maple tree. Indeed, it was the biggest paper-wasp nest I have ever seen. My husband armed with a ladder, bucket and long, long pole harvested the hive. The wasps no longer live in the nest. We hung it up outside, and I thought, what a fun thing to draw. The result is this colored pencil sketch.

Blank inside. The card is printed on textured watercolor paper, suitable for framing. Included are an envelope and a gold-foil sticker.
